BSP - People's Alliance
Acclaimed as the ‘Best Secular Party’ and the ‘Boldest Socialist Party’, the Bahujan Samaj Party is, as its name implies, the National Party of the common folk, who love peace, want progress and dream of a casteless and egalitarian India.

The Bahujan Samaj Party is the National Party that strives for the creation of a casteless India by uplifting the marginalized and downtrodden sections of the society and thus realizing the dream of Dr. B.R. Ambedkar, the architect of the Indian Constritution, who several times voiced his dream of seeing the dalits (the lower castes) in the throne of power in Delhi.

It was founded in 1984 by Kanshi Ram, the charismatic leader of the oppressed and downtrodden masses belonging to the backward classes, untouchables and minority communities, who had always been marginalized by the conservative caste Hindus.  Kanshi Ram was inspired by the Buddha who despised caste distinctions and Dr. B.R. Ambedkar, the Messiah of Marginalised and the Architect of the Indian Constitution.
